New Ministry - "The Well" Welcomes Robert V. Taylor April18

The second conversation leader at "The Well, a gathering place for conversation" will be Robert V. Taylor, former dean on Saint Mark's Cathedral in Seattle and current Chair of the Board and Executive Committee of the Desmond Tutu Peace Foundation.

Born in South Africa, Robert left his home under threat of imprisonment because of anti-apartheid activity. His mentor, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, helped him come to the United States.

He attended Union Theological Seminary in New York and worked in the diocese in New York until he was elected dean of Saint Mark's Cathedral in Seattle, WA, making him the first openly gay man to serve as dean in the Episcopal church.

Robert follows Wes Howard-Brook and Sue Ferguson Johnson to "The Well." The conversation will focus on his new book "A New Way to Be Human." Bernie Siegel, MD and author of "A Book of Miracles and Love, Medicine & Miracles" has this to say about the book:

“The wisdom of the ages is available to us from many sources. Robert V. Taylor shares his story and the lessons he has learned and makes this wisdom easy to understand through practical lessons and experiences. He is a wounded healer and in love’s service only the wounded healer can serve. So read his words and grow, bloom and blossom.”

To join the conversation, RSVP to www.thewellqueenanne@gmail.com or call 206-282-4307. Free tickets will be issued to you. Donations are welcome to help us continue inviting conversation partners.
